WELCOME TO THE WARLOCK DRAG RACING TEAM HOMEPAGE

Ron Mucci, Turley, Nic & Nathan Crisp

Warlock Drag Racing got started around 1993 At Detroit Dragway. I didn't know a lot about drag racing then, but some of the guys at Detroit helped me out. Good old Shotgun, Frank Hickman.

The first time out, I went 5 rounds and my good friend, Turley Crisp video taped all day and half the night. It was really great. I tried to race every Sat night or so up until 1998 when they tore the track down. I really miss old Detroit Dragway.

I tried the street scene for a while but I really missed drag racing. Now, along comes the trouble maker, my old friend Turley and his two sons, Nic & Nathan. Turley says Nic want to dragrace and asked me if I would show him a couple of things. Shoot, I only won twenty five bucks in three years of racing. I really liked it but was never too good at it. Turley said he would like to race at Milan Dragway in Milan Michigan. So I figured as long as I will be going to Milan to help out Turley & Nic, I might as well take the old "Warlock" out and beat it up somemore. That's all it took and the Warlock Drag Racing Team was started.

The Monte Carlo will race in the Pro ET class, and the Vette will run Super Pro. Nic just turned 16 years old and his 1st time out he ran a 12.74 @ 106 mph. The Monte Carlo will be at Milan Dragway for the 2001 season. The old Warlock Vette will probably race in the spring of 2002. A minor financial setback parked the Warlock till then.. Milan was voted the NHRA Division 3 ET track of the year for both 1999 & 2000. However, Milan has rejoined the IHRA family for the 2002 season and the Warlock will make its first run down the new IHRA track. Milan is a great facility with lots of room for racers and spectators. We hope to see our friends and family there on Sundays.

Thanks to Andy and Tony Mannerino's Total Automotive Engineering Shop in Detroit....thanks Keith...also thanks to Danny Scott for tubbing out my beast..Good luck in the NMCA Fastest Street Car Shootout..keep the rubber side down Danny...
